Sundy Best brought some of their best material on Thursday when they performed at Angelo’s in the Gap. It marked their second time being in the area.

“It was great,” said Kris Bentley of Sundy Best in regards to the show. “It feels like home. We are very grateful for everyone that came out.”

The restaurant was packed for the show. Bentley said the band was received well.

“People were chanting for us 45 minutes before the show,” said Bentley.

During the concert, everyone in attendance participated by singing along with the songs, especially during the “old-school” medley. The medley contained songs from the late 90s to the early and mid 2000s. Some of the songs the band featured were “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys, “In the Club” by 50 cent, “Pony” by Ginuwine,” Mrs. Officer” by Lil Wayne and even the theme song to Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

The band also played some of the original music including “Kentucky Women” and “Count on Me.”

Sundy Best is headed to Mt. Pleasant, S.C. next and then to Savannah, Ga.
