The Bell County 4-H Community Club met Oct. 12 at the First Presbyterian Church in Pineville for the regular monthly meeting.

The 4-H project for October was community service.

Club members decided to collect donations for the Bell County Animal Shelter.

Members collected dog food, cat food, blankets for bedding and towels for bathing the animals. Betty Haley, 4-H leader, delivered the donations to the animal shelter.

The Bell County 4-H Community Club meets the second Saturday of each month.
