Enrollment can often be an intimidating time for students. However, freshman Presley Helton says the staff of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College makes enrollment a breeze.

“I felt the entire process went smoothly and was glad for the helpful faculty members,” said Helton addressing how her current semester enrollment proceeded.

Helton said she did pre-register for the semester.

Also, Southeast provided plenty of advertisement, informing students when they could register several weeks in advance from the regular registration dates of Jan. 6-9.

Two-year student Denise Gilbert said online enrollment was much easier.

She had a much different opinion than Helton on the subject, saying “Enrollment was difficult because no one would tell you what to do.”

Students who have registered for the spring semester of 2014 can withdraw from KCTCS and receive a full tuition refund if by Jan. 17. A partial tuition refund can be made until Feb. 7
