Pineville was lit up like a firework’s show every night last week as the Bell County Fair took place.

The fairgrounds became a child’s playground complete with a Ferris wheel and climbing rock wall.

Friday night featured hours of live entertainment as acts ranging from local talent to an up-and-coming country star to a country legend took the stage.

Fans came all the way from Hancock County, Tenn. to see country legend John Anderson perform as part of his 30th Anniversary Swingin’ Tour.

First up was local country artist Tim Goodin, who sang a mix of his original songs and country classics. Next was another local artist, Nate Cornett, who sang a mixture of his original songs plus current country hits.

Rising country star Eric Paslay took the stage next. Paslay performed his hits “Friday Night” and “Song About A Girl” along with several other songs he wrote that have been recorded by artists such as Jake Owens and The Eli Young Band.

John Anderson finished the night with his hits “Straight Tequila Night,” “Seminole Wind” and “Swingin’”.
