Appalachian Craft Fair is coming up


Courtesy photo The Bell County Cooperative Extension Service along with Main Street Pineville will sponsor their annual Appalachian Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 25 around the Bell County Courthouse in downtown Pineville. Local crafters and entertainment will be on the square demonstrating their skills and talents. Come out to see the wood carvers, wood turners, knitting, crocheting, quilters, ceramics, drawing and much more. If you are a local crafter and would like to participate, contact the Bell County Cooperative Extension Service at 606-337-2376 to register. No fee is required to set up. A soup bean or hot dog dinner will be available for $6, and will include soup beans, cornbread, cole slaw, dessert and drink, or hot dog, cole slaw, dessert and drink. Homemade candy, cookies, brownies, etc. will also be available.
