Jamie Brianna Turner, of Frakes, and William Caleb Collins, of Rose Hill, Virginia, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. The bride-elect the daughter of Kevin and Paula Turner, of Chenoa. She is the granddaughter of Geraldine and Dennie Turner, of Chenoa, and James and Kathy Claxton, of Chatsworth, Georgia. Jamie is a 2009 graduate of Bell County High School, a 2012 licensed practical nurse graduate and a May 2015 registered nurse graduate of Southeast Community & Technical College in Pineville. She is presently employed as the health services administrator at Bell County Forestry Camp (a minimum security prison). The prospective groom is the son of John and Charli Collins, of Rose Hill, Virginia. He is the grandson of Margaret Collins, of Rose Hill, Virginia, the late Calvin Collins, Lillian Sharpe, of Rose Hill, Virginia, and the late Buddy Sharpe. William is a 2007 graduate of Thomas Walker High School and is presently employed as a correctional officer at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. The couple became engaged on May 19 in Cozumel, Mexico. The wedding will take place at 3 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the Plantation Barn of 1810 in Morristown, Tennessee with Rev. James Claxton, the bride’s grandfather, officiating. A reception will follow. A family and friends are invited to attend. After a honeymoon in Tybee Island, Georgia, the couple will reside in Rose Hill, Virginia.
