Kentucky State Police troopers are in search of two people who reportedly ran through a road block at Blackmont on Sunday.

Preliminary information indicates a trooper reportedly followed the vehicle to an off-road on KY 72 just past the “S” curve. The occupants of the vehicle wrecked the truck in a ditchline then fled on foot. The trooper gave chase on foot and was injured sustaining a broken leg. He is being airlifted to University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee.

We are awaiting a press release for Post 10 for more details.
