SKCTC hosts Dr. Seuss birthday celebration

Students from Middlesboro Independent, Gateway Christian and Ellen Myers enjoyed a Dr. Seuss Birthday Party as part of the Read Across America kick-off. Southeast Student Services, Barnes & Noble Southeast Bookstore and the Student Government Association (SGA) sponsored the event which included Dr. Seuss readings, craft activities, and cupcakes. Students also had the chance to meet several of Dr. Seuss’s best loved characters and the Southeast Mascot. Dr. Dennis Michaelis, SKCTC interim president and the Southeast mascot are shown enjoying the celebration.
