SKCTC, local churches team up to host Super Sunday

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College is teaming up with several local churches this weekend to host Super Sunday.

Super Sunday is an event designed to help African-American teens make the decision to go to college. The event also specifically targets potential students and their families who are low income or minorities with information and resources to support college admissions and enrollment.

This year’s event will be March 19 at the Harlan Christian Church in Harlan. Dinner will be from 1 to 2 p.m. with the program, which includes a college fair, beginning at 2 p.m.
