HARROGATE, Tenn. — The national publication U.S. News and World Report released its annual college rankings recently, and Lincoln Memorial University was featured as a top 50 regional university.
LMU moved up three spots in the Regional University South to No. 50.
Last year’s No. 53 ranking marked the third consecutive year the university was listed among the Tier 1 institutions in the south.
The university has expanded from its liberal arts core and now offers advanced and professional degrees in osteopathic medicine, veterinary medicine, law, business, nursing and education.
LMU students run the gamut, from first-generation college students to working professionals seeking to complete their degree to professional students pursuing their doctorates.
The university also operates 10 extended learning sites, offering programs throughout the region.
