KY Pawn open for business

Photo submitted KY Pawn, located at 2531 Highway 25E, is now open for business.

A new pawn shop has opened along 25E that offers friendly service and cell phone repair alongside a wide variety of items for sale. KY Pawn owners Brandie Fultz and Pete Middleton will soon celebrate being open for five months.

“I got the building for a good price. It’s been really good so far,” said Fultz.

KY Pawn offers a large selection of coins as well as new and used Case knives, which are a popular collectors item.

“Already, we’ve got a good group of repeat, regular customers and they seem happy with what we’re doing,” said Fultz.

The shop will accept nearly anything in pawn from cell phones and laptops to motorcycles and other vehicles.

KY Pawn has plans to open a check advance business next to their pawn shop and will then rename their building to KY Cash and Pawn. This should open in the next few weeks because they are putting the finishing touches on the building construction.

“We are always friendly and try to keep a girl working in here to make our female customers feel more comfortable. That’s one thing many other pawn shops don’t do and we think that’s important,” said Fultz.

Inside KY Pawn is a cell phone store which carries many popular brands such as Red Pocket, Net 10 Wireless, Page Plus, AT&T and even cell phone options for carriers that are linked to a Verizon tower. KY Pawn has experts who can repair many common problems such as cracked screens and water damage.

KY Pawn offers a wide variety of payment and pawn options.

KY Pawn is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. They are located at 2531 Highway 25E and can be reached on Facebook or by phone at 606-248-8600.
