Vets salute fire dept.

Vets Serving Vets presented the Middlesboro Fire Department with a 12 foot by 18 foot flag to honor them and the selfless work they do. “We are presenting this to the fire department to show them how we feel about them,” said chairman of the VSV Flag Committee Gary Mays. “We hold that flag sacred and we salute our fire department. They will fly this flag with pride and dedication.”

They manage the upkeep and storage and the group puts them up around town and they take them down for events and special occasions.
