Lingerie boutique opens in Middlesboro

Firm Foundations Intimate Apparel, located at 2002B Cumberland Ave., is owned by Charlotte Cox, the business provides quality lingerie for the women of the Tri-State area. The shop’s proprietor gained valuable business insight from the Small Business Development Center and its administrator Samuel R. Coleman. His office is located on the SKCTC Middlesboro campus.

Every woman should have a bra that fits properly, makes her look good and makes her feel confident. Firm Foundations Intimate Apparel is a new lingerie boutique aimed at providing quality lingerie to the women of Middlesboro and the surrounding Tri-State area.

The boutique is located at 2002B Cumberland Ave., on the corner of Cumberland Avenue and 20th Street, next to the ARH Women’s Apex.

This exciting endeavor will bring a much needed women’s intimate apparel store to this area, which will provide custom fitting for the right sized bras,nursing bras,sport bras, panties and girdles. Charlotte Cox and Shelly Denney are trained and experienced custom fitters, looking forward to serving community needs. They offer a wide variety of sizes and styles with exceptional customer service — focusing on sizes that are hard to find in our area. Whether you need an everyday bra that is comfortable or something for a special occasion, Firm Foundations has you covered.

To put a financial face to her operation, it was suggested for her to seek help from the Small Business Development Center. Samual R. Coleman and the SBDC office were key in establishing the economic picture of what would be needed to sustain the operation. Information was gathered for fast and smooth action when starting the operation, and providing the base for the long-term survival of this much needed business.
