For the seventh time in as many studies conducted, Edward Jones financial advisors rate the firm “Highest in Employee Advisor Satisfaction among Financial Investment Firms,” according to a newly released study by J.D. Power.
The J.D. Power 2015 Financial Advisor Satisfaction Study ranked seven financial services firms. Edward Jones financial advisors gave the highest satisfaction ratings in all of the study categories, with a score of 925 points out of 1,000. This compares to the industry average of 701.
Financial advisors also scored the firm’s professional, client and technology support extremely high.
“All of our resources as a Fortune 500 firm are dedicated to supporting our financial advisors and their branch teams in a spirit of partnership,” said Edward Jones managing partner Jim Weddle. “This success is based upon our values and our culture that align us all to work together with the single goal of serving our clients — serious, long-term individual investors.”
Edward Jones financial advisors reported confidence in the firm’s mission, values and vision to expand the firm, and serve more clients.
“Clearly our long-term investments in training, systems and tools are highly valued by financial advisors because together they improve the client experience,” Weddle said.
Edward Jones also ranked highest in the 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014 studies and tied for the highest ranking in 2008. The study was not conducted in 2009 or 2011.
Weddle also expressed appreciation to the Edward Jones branch office administrators and home office associates who support the firm’s nearly 14,000 financial advisors for enhancing client service excellence.
