The community is cordially invited to join Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College, the Appalachian Regional Commission and the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship in an event that will assist local entrepreneurs and agencies in identifying and mapping small business resources within the SKCTC service area and in other counties of eastern Kentucky. The map will include small business resources such as service providers, education and training options, financial resources, networking events and business incubators.
The goal of the assembly is to create a map of resources that can be shared throughout the community and to identify gaps in services needed for the area. The event will be held in the conference room of the administration building of the SKCTC Middlesboro campus, Chichester Avenue. The occasion will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
“We would love to have a large number from the communities to be present and to help us recognize any and all business activities taking place within the area,” said Samuel R. Coleman, head of the Southeast Kentucky Small Business Development Center.
The event is free to the public, and for more information contact Coleman at (888) 225-7232 or by contacting him with your RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Light refreshments will be provided.
