HARROGATE, Tenn. — Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) will host a Halo 4 tournament to benefit charity Sept. 28, at the Cumberland Gap Convention Center (601 Colwyn Avenue) in Cumberland Gap, Tenn. Registration will begin at noon, and the tournament will get underway at 1 p.m.

Hosted by LMU and sponsored by Mad Catz, Tritton and CDW, the event is part of Project XBOX. Open to players of all skill levels, the event will feature two versus two, slayer action. Spectators can view all of the action on projection screens at each of the game stations. Project XBOX is a charitable event where organizers may choose to donate all proceeds to a local charity. LMU’s Information Services department, which is putting on the event, has chosen to support Child’s Play, a charitable organization set up to bring books, toys and games to children in 70 hospitals worldwide.

In addition to raising money for Child’s Play, players will also have a chance to win prizes. For more information or to register, visit http://halochella.com. Registration is $20 per team with a limit of 32 teams.
