Alonzo Johnson, 88 of Middlesboro, passed away Thursday Feb. 14, 2013 at the Middlesboro ARH. He was born August 28, 1924 in Middlesboro. A son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Rainey Johnson. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents she was preceded in death by Brothers: Estil Johnson, Mack Johnson, and Sherman Johnson, Sisters: Dora Johnson, Rosa Johnson, and Henrietta Johnson.

Survivors include: sisters: Vestina Johnson of Middlesboro, Juletha Fuson of Clear Creek; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Lt. Quinn of the Salvation Army presiding. Music will be provided by Norman Marcum. Interment will follow in the Yellow Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home.
