Senior guard Kyle Lee led the Bobcats with 26 points while senior center Ryan Cox finished with 20. Tyler Potter added nine points and Jake Patterson eight.
The Jaguars got 11 points from Marcus Carson, ten from Jake Allen and nine each from Ryan Shears and Kendrick Henson.
Lee got Bell off to a quick start with a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter. Cox also scored six points and Potter hit a 3 as the Bobcats led 17-10 after one. Shears scored five for North Laurel and Henson hit a 3 in the opening quarter.
The Bobcats pounded the ball inside to Cox in the second quarter and the big man came through with eight points, Patterson hit a 3 while Lee and Lefevers added baskets. Ethan Eversole knocked down a 3 for the Jags, but Bell’s lead was 32-21 by halftime.
Bell’s press picked up the pace in the third quarter and Lee took advantage as the senior scored 14 of points in the period. The Bobcats outscored North 24-19 in the third quarter and were up 56-40 going into the fourth.
Carson and Allen scored five points for North Laurel in the final period, but Bell got four each from Lee and Jesse Green. Potter and Cole added 3-pointers and the Bobcats went on to the 18-point win.
Bell County (13-4) returns to action Friday at 7:30 p.m. at South Laurel. North (11-6) plays Wayne County Saturday afternoon.
