Mr. and Mrs Joseph “Jay’ Gilpin of Rogersville, Tenn., will celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 16.
They were united in marriage by the Rev. Joe Lambert in Tazewell, Tenn.
Mrs. Gilpin is the daughter of the late Rev. Clifford and Ruby Yeary of Ewing, Va. She graduated from Thomas Walker High School and spent some time at Lincoln Memorial University.
Mr. Gilpin is the son of the late Ora Wells Gilpin of Crab Orchard and Garrett Gilpin of Ewing, Va. He is retired from the Unites States Postal Service.
They are the parents of David Gilpin of Middlesboro, Paul Gilpin of Harrogate, Tenn., and Karen Ramsey of Bean Station, Tenn.
A family dinner is planned to celebrate the occasion.
