Former athletes inducted into M’boro Hall of Fame

Five people were inducted into the Middlesboro Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday. Those individuals are pictured here: (Top) Floyd Patterson, Terry Fee and Kevin Gordon; (bottom) Scott E. Powell and Claude Wilburn Conner.

Officer Floyd Patterson of the Middlesboro Police Department was inducted into the Middlesboro Sports Hall of Fame. To be eligible for induction, the inductee must receive 75 percent of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee votes and meet several other criteria including playing at Middlesboro High School or Lincoln High School.
