He worked with his brother in Cline Logging (dozer work). He professed faith in Christ during his illness.
He was preceded in death by, wife, Joanna Cline; father, Gerald Cline; and grandparents, Jim and Rosa Cline, and George and Mae Goforth
He is survived by his mother, Betty Jo and husband Earl Pittman of Knoxville, Tenn.; son, Shain Arnold of Tazewell, Tenn.; daughter, Miranda Cline of Harrogate, Tenn.; brothers, Mark A. Cline and Carla England of Tazewell, Tenn., Kelly Earl Pittman of Ida, Mich.; sister, Jill Pittman Black and husband Todd of Knoxville, Tenn.; nephews, Dalton, Juddsen, Jaxon Black, and Derrick Bliss; niece, Carrie Kilgore; special aunts, Vearl Johnston of Harrogate, Tenn., and Susan Dawson of Columbia, Tenn.; and many cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Cole officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Cline, Joe Johnston, Carl England Jr., Kelly Pittman, Neal Jones, Larry Johnston, Tony Bradley, Benny Harness, and Steve Johnston.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday December 21, 2005, at the Claiborne Funeral Home, New Tazewell, Tenn., which is in charge of arrangements.
