Born in Fork Ridge, Tenn., on June 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Log and Polly Ann Sowders. She married Grant Noah Jr. on July 31, 1955, in Tazewell, Tenn. He preceded her in death in 1982.
She was also preceded her in death by her sister, Ann Heatherly.
Survivors include her two sons, Bruce (wife Melody) and Barry (wife Amy) both of West Lafayette, Ind.; three grandchildren, Kylee Noah of St. Louis, Mo., and Grant Noah and Katie Noah, both of West Lafayette, Ind.; one brother, Albert (wife Billie) Sowders of Taylor, Mich.; sisters, Noami Brendel of Springfield, Ohio, Retha Ayers (husband T.J.) of Cumberland Gap, Tenn., Jayetta Gibson (husband Earl) of Speedwell, Tenn., Pauline Mason of Middlesboro, Barbara Sowders of Speedwell, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday Feb. 3, at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Simmons presiding.
Burial will be in Clarkson Cemetery, Ewing, Va.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
