INGRAM— J. Martin Miller, 79, of Ingram, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Fourmile on July 22, 1932, and was a son of the late T. J. and Florida Jones Miller. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church at East Jellico, and had been a coal miner. He had served in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Jones Miller; and daughter, Teresa Miller.

Survivors include his granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer and Ian Amburgy; great-grandsons that he loved more than anything, Ashton Burns, Bradyn Amburgy and Tyler Amburgy; and a host of friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Liford presiding. Music will be by the Calvary Baptist Church Choir.

Burial will be in the Tad Goodin Cemetery at Ingram. Pallbearers will be Ian Amburgy, David Burns, Jonathan Jones, Kelly Jones, Carvel Walter, and other friends and family.
