He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Lizzie Partin; son, Dewey Partin; brothers, Fate Partin, Jake Partin, Clarence Partin and Luster Partin; sisters, Sarah Dixon, Arkie George, and Dorothy Partin.
Jay was a man whom loved telling others about his Jesus. He was a selfless man who loved serving others. Jay was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He is survivored by brothers, Beth Partin and Bud Partin, sister, Sophie Lambdin; sons, Jay Partin Jr., Ronnie (Linda) Partin, and Jerry (Connie) Partin; special grandson, Jay (Rebecca) Partin III; grandsons, Jerry Partin Jr., and Daniel Partin; great grandchildren, Natasha Partin, Courtney Beth Partin, Jocelyn Wright, Zane Wright, Tessa Marcum, Maci Burns; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 12, at 2 p.m. at the Pump Hollow Baptist Church with the Rev Donnie Bannister and Pastor Dewayne Byrd officiating.
Interment will follow in the Partin Family Cemetery in Speedwell. Pallbearers will be Jay Partin III, Audie Miracle, Donnie Bannister, Dewayne Byrd, Mark Bolinger and Jeff Marlow.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. on Saturday February 11, at Pump Hollow Baptist Church.
