Thanks to everyone who helped make the Fall ‘09 Book Fair a huge success: Southeast students, faculty, staff, and community volunteers who worked; volunteers from St. Mary's Church; everyone who donated books, boxes, and bags; inmates of the Bell County Forestry Camp who did the heavy lifting; and those who donated cash. And of course, thanks to our many Book Fair customers.

Here are some preliminary totals:

•Books sold: 4, 059

•Funds collected from sales: $1, 061

•Cash donations: $230

•Total funds raised: $1,291

I believe this is a record. We’ll do it again in April.
