Staff Report

The annual Mason’s Pumpkin Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The farm is located along KY 190 in the Clear Creek area.

The festival takes place on the Mason family farm ,which has been in continuous operation for more than 100 years.

There will be a wide variety of entertainment for the whole family, including food, arts and crafts, and the incredible corn maze.

The popular corn maze — designed by the Mason family — was added in 2002. It has been an entertaining success each year since.

Children always have fun running throughout the corn maze and taking part in the other activities available to them, which includes a straw pyramid and petting zoo, said festival organizers.

The corn maze will also be open on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Various crafters will have booths, offering a large variety of handmade items.

Admission and parking are free.

To reach Mason’s Pumpkin Patch Festival, take U.S. 25 E to Pineville and turn onto KY 190 at Wasioto Winds Golf Club. Follow KY 190 for about eight miles, watching for signs directing you to the farm.

If the event is postponed due to rain, it will be held on Oct. 6.
