HARROGATE, Tenn. - Nannie Cleo Gent, 91, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, Tenn.

Born Nov. 8, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Ewell Oscar Hunter and Cora Emma Blackburn Hunter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Franklin Gent; sisters, Mae Hopper and Hazel Stanley; and a brother, Dewey Hunter.

Survivors include her daughters, Ruth Gent, Harrogate, and Margaret Gent (William Ronald) Teague, LaFollette, Tenn.; one grandson, Michael Gent, Harrogate; two sisters, Mandoline Berry, Middlesboro, and Maurine (Bruce) Sowders, Middlesboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Creech Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Earle presiding.

Interment will be in the Yoakum Cemetery, Speedwell, Tenn. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro.
