Jeff Saylor and Beverly Gilpin are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, April Madison Saylor to Barton Daniel Short, son of Dennis and Sandra Short. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marcellus and Peggy Woods of Pineville, and the late L.B. and Loretta Saylor of Molus. The prospective groom is the grandson of Bessie Barton and the late Elmer Barton of Middlesboro, and the late Everett and Rosie Short of Harlan. The wedding ceremony will take place at First Christian Church, Middlesboro, on Oct. 20.
