Shirley Jean Capps Hensley, 70 of Middlesboro, passed away Friday Nov. 2, 2012 at the U.T. Hospital in Knoxville.

She was born May 31, 1942 at Middlesboro, the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Rosetta Reed Capps who survives.

She was preceded in death by 1 son, Steven Randall Hensley.

Survivors include: mother, Rosetta Capps; husband Jack R. Hensley; sons, Mark (Linda) Hensley, Timothy (Melissa) Hensley, Jeffrey Hensley and Stan (Michelle) Hensley; daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Hensley; brothers, Ronald Capps, David Capps and Gary Capps; sisters, Diana Shackleford and Donna Faye Sowders; grandchildren, Bethany Evans McCune, Caitlyn Evans, Lindsey Hensley Hunter, Alexandra Hensley Dover, Jared Hensley, Camden Hensley, Chandler Hensley, Dustin Hensley, Alyssa Hensley, Taylor Hensley, Bailey Hensley and Kelsie Hensley; 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services was held at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Mike Padgett and David King presiding.

Music was by Rev. Mike Padgett.

Interment was at 1 p.m. Monday at the Taylor Grove Cemetery at Sharps Chapel, TN.

Pallbearers were Chris Shackleford, George Stiltner, Jamie McCune, Stephen Hunter, Brandon Dover, Jake Sowders and Aaron Sowders.

Honorary Pallbearers included Dr. Shawn Fugate and Marion Hensley. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home.

Creech Funeral Home was charge of all arrangements.
