Bell County sheriff’s deputy Eric Saylor said reckless driving caused a wreck that sent one to the hospital on Tuesday. Saylor said witnesses claim an unidentified silver Buick headed northbound on U.S. 119 attempted to pass a Tahoe on a double yellow line. In the process, the Buick allegedly ran several cars off the road. The Tahoe lost control and ran into the ditchline and later collided head-on with the guardrail. The passenger in the Tahoe was transported to Pineville Community Hospital by Bell County EMS. No names was released by the sheriff’s department. Other responding agencies included the Bell County Rescue Squad and the Bell County Volunteer Fire Department. Saylor is investigating the crash.
