The Bell County Cooperative Extension Service will sponsor the annual Appalachian Craft Fair on Oct. 4 around the Bell County Courthouse in downtown Pineville. Local crafters and entertainment will be on the square demonstrating their skills and talents. There will be wood carvers, wood turners, knitting, crocheting, quilters, ceramics, drawings and much more. There will be a soup bean dinner available for $6 and will include soup beans, cornbread, cole slaw, dessert and drink. It will begin at 10 a.m. and run through 4 p.m.
