Pictured is Friends of the Shelter (FOS) member Betty Nagle with just a few of the items that will be offered for bidding at the seventh annual Friends of the Bell County Animal Shelter “Beastie Bash” Benefit and Auction. Many items are available, such as UK basketball tickets, guided turkey hunts, Botox injections, homemade cheesecakes, and many more. The event is Nov. 10 at the Pine Mountain State Park lodge. Social hour and item viewing will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 each and are available from any FOS member or Pizazz Salon in Cumberland Gap. You must purchase your tickets by Nov. 6.
