Students at the Page School Center and the UNITE club recently came together to work on wiping out drug abuse in Bell County.
The wipe out drugs challenge took place April 16-30.
Tteachers with the most toilet paper votes were crowned T.P. King and T.P. Queen. The students who brought in the most toilet paper donations was crowned T.P Prince and T.P. Princess.
The school received 1,570 rolls of toilet paper to donate. All donations are going to drug rehab centers in the state of Kentucky and Ray of Hope located in Pineville.
The school hosted the toilet paper drive in competition with Lone Jack and Frakes School Centers to see who could raise the most toilet paper to donate to the local charities. The winner of the three schools will be announced at Ray of Hope at a later to be determined date and will receive a plaque from UNITE.
In addition to the ongoing competition between the schools, students at Page also competed amongst themselves to see who could raise the most toilet paper.
Upper and lower grades competed against one another to see who could bring in the most donations and receive the titles of T.P. Prince and Princess.
Kings and queens received a sash, a cape made of a bathroom floor mat, a scepter — a plunger for the kings and a toilet bowl brush for the queens, a crown and got to sit on a ‘throne’ which was actually a portable toilet.
In the lower grades, T.P. Prince went to Jason Hensley, T.P. Princess went to Jessica Miller and T.P. Duchess went to Jasmine Moseby.
Mr. Jeremy Sanders was named T.P. King with Mrs. Nita Karen Chadwell as his T.P. Queen and Mrs. Kim as the Assistant to the Queen.
In the upper grades, T.P. Prince went to Alan Runions and T.P. Princess went to Taylor Sturdivant.
Mr. James Blevins was named T.P. King with Mrs. Brooks as his T.P. Queen.
