Two men from the Miracle area have been indicted on burglary charges. Danny Ray Cupp, 43, was charged with first-degree burglary and Austin D. Snowden, 18, was charged with first-degree complicity to commit burglary.
According to the indictment, Cupp and Snowden entered the home of Gary Wilder and took $20,000 from the residence. The two also took approximately $50,000 in silver coins and nine firearms.
Kentucky State Police (KSP) troopers Tyson Lawson and Josh Howard and Sgt. Joel Woods were involved in investigating the case.
Three men accused of stealing from JT Trucking were also indicted recently. Jason Scott Good (34), Tommy E. Smith and Joshua Goins (19) were all indicted on the charge of theft by unlawful taking over $10,000. All three men are from Middlesboro.
According to the indictment, the three individuals stole Mack truck parts belonging to JT Trucking. The parts were valued at $11,494. Good and Smith were both also indicted for being persistent felony offenders.
KSP Trooper Don Perry was the police witness for the case.
Other individuals indicted include:
* Carl Shannon Fry, 41 of Lexington, on the charge of theft by unlawful taking over $10,000;
* Gilbert W. Helton, 50 of Kettle Island, on the charge of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance;
* Joshua Warren, 21 of Georgetown, on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment;
* Cole Carson Anderson, 32 of Harrogate, Tenn., on the charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance;
* Michael L. Bledsoe Jr. on the charge of second-degree escape and for being a persistent felony offender;
* Timothy D. Bowling, 38 of Wallins, on the charge of second-degree escape and for being a persistent felony offender;
* Sammy Lee Chilton, 29 of Benton, on the charge of second-degree escape and for being a persistent felony offender;
* Joseph D. Levi, 27 of Pineville, on the charge of operating an ATV on a roadway, first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, failure to illuminate head lamps and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operators license;
* Jennifer Shackleford, of Middlesboro, on the charge of theft by unlawful taking under $500, theft of identity of another without consent and for being a persistent felony offender;
* James P. Partin, 38 of Pineville, on the charge of third-degree burglary;
* Dusty L. Overton, 38 of Middlesboro, on the charge of third-degree burglary;
* Rockie Larry Overton, 42 of Middlesboro, on the charge of third-degree burglary and for being a persistent felony offender.
