The extremely popular Holler Crawler Haunted Forest Ride is coming next weekend, Oct. 19-21. The event will take place at the Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park at the U.S. 119 Trailhead. The event area and concert area will be approximately two miles up the main gravel road past the bridge.

The event, riding and primitive camping on the ATV park is completely free. The only thing that cost money is the concert on Saturday.

There will be events going on all weekend long. Friday will feature guided rides, mud drags, flat drags, costume contest and cemetery tour done by the LMU Paranormal Society.

Saturday will feature vendor and kids event area, mud drag duel (challenge your friends), Outlaw Series Rail Buggy Hill Climbs from Southern Buggies, prize raffle, ATV costume contest and the Haunted Trail (open to ATVs, side x sides, and dirt bikes only). Sunday will feature some guided rides. Complete event schedule is available on www.hollercrawlers.com/events.

Saturday will also play host to two major events. There will be an attempt to break the world record for ATV and UTV in a parade. Last year it was estimated that over 4,000 people showed up for the event and over 2,000 ATVs were present.

The main entertainment attraction for Saturday will be country-rap star Colt Ford. Tickets for the concert are $15 and can be purchased at the old Pineville Courthouse on the third floor. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.wildernesstrailoffroadpark.net.

Ticket buyers will also have a chance to be one of the first to gain access to the haunted trail. People with concert wristbands can begin lining up for the haunted trail around 5:30 p.m. People without concert wristbands can begin lining up about 7 p.m.

Brian Fisher of Fisher’s ATV World will also be on hand to film and visit with fans all weekend. He will be filming for an upcoming episode to be featured on the Outdoor Channel.
