Jackets rally for 6-3 win at Bell

John Millett scored the tying run on a wild pitch and eighth-grader Tyler McCullough put the Jackets ahead to stay with an RBI single in the sixth inning as Middlesboro defeated Bell County 6-3 on Tuesday to complete a sweep of the home-and-home series.Senior Lucas Crawford pitched all seven innings to get the win. He scattered seven hits and only one of the runs he allowed was earned. Crawford was efficient as he needed just 86 pitches in the complete game. He struck out four without walking a batter.


Kiwanis Club donates to Repair Affair
