First Tee Pine Mountain will begin their summer golf program on June 9. The event is held at Wasioto Winds in Pineville. The summer program is one day a week for four weeks, and it cost $30 to participate.
Beginning June 9, Par-level sessions begin. These sessions will take place on Tuesdays or Thursdays, according to the event flyer. Seven to 11-year-olds will participate between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Ages 12 to 18 will participate from noon to 2 p.m.
Beginning June 10, Birdie-level participants will attend the program from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays. Eagle-level participants will attend the program on Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m.
Starting June 11, Ace participants will attend the program from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursdays.
First Tee Pine Mountain will also hold a LMU Advanced Academy on LMU campus beginning June 15. The academy will take place on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Twelve to 18-year-olds can participate in the event, which is for Birdie, Eagle and Ace-level players.
Other programs being held by First Tee include:
• July 7, 14, 21 — Little Linksters (Target) for ages 5 and 6, Mondays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• July 7, 14, 21 —LPGA Girl’s Golf, Mondays from 11 a.m. to noon.
