The Freedom Fest 5K


Photos by Ray Welch|Daily News Vets Serving Vets held their “Freedom Fest” event on Saturday. The group held the event to “celebrate freedom.” As a part of the event, a 5K run/walk was held. Mitchell Miracle, pictured, was the first place winner for the males. He ran the course in 14:14.


Mallory James, the youngest of the female runners, was the first place winner for the females. She completed the race in 19:42.
