The Junior Bobcats defeated Harrogate, 56-0, on Saturday at Thomas Walker to win the Thomas Walker Bowl.
Brandon Baker began the scoring for the Bobcats with a 4-yard touchdown run. Seth Mills then passed to Cameron Burnett for the extra point.
Noah Caldwell was the next Bobcat to score on a 8-yard run. Mills again added the extra point this time passing to Hayden Calebs.
After a three and out by the Panthers, Burnett took the next play 45 yards for the touchdown. Baker added the point after on a run. At the end of the first quarter, the Bobcats led 21-0.
On the next possession Mills found Calebs on a pass for a 24-yard touchdown. On the extra point, Mills passed to Cayden Phipps. To close out the second quarter, quarterback Mills scored on a 35-yard run. Baker again added the extra Point.
Devin Morris of the Bobcats returned the second half kickoff for a 55-yard touchdown. Tristan Orr added the extra point on a run of his own. Baker found the end zone again on the next possession with a 55-yard TD run. The extra point was added by Caldwell.
To close out the scoring for the Bobcats, Cole Hoskins ran in a 25-yard touchdown. Ethan Raby added the extra point. The Bobcat defense gave up only two first downs. The Jr. Bobcats were led in tackles by Carter McCune, Devin Hoskins and Raby.
