PINEVILLE — James Kelly Gross, 43, of Pineville, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was a native of Dearborn, Mich., and lived in Pineville for the past 20 years. He is formerly of Bledsoe, Ky. 

Mr. Gross worked as a Custodian Supervisor for the Pineville Independent School, and he was a sports official for 20 years.

He is survived by his parents, Lawrence Gross and Anna Moore Gross, Pineville; his fiancé Contessa Robbins, Pineville; two children, Emily Nevaeh Gross and Isiaih James Gross, both of Pineville and one step-daughter, Hannah Marie Jones, Pineville; five brothers, Larry Gross and wife Leta, New Tazewell, Tenn.; Floyd Simpson, Dallas Simpson, Bryce Simpson and wife Terri and Theodore Simpson and wife Shawna all of Pineville; two sisters, Lisa Asher and husband Eugene, Speedwell, Tenn., and Tresa Bingham and husband Keith, Pineville; a special aunt, Allene Allen, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday at the Victory Baptist Church in Arjay, Ky., and from 6 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Green Hill Pentecostal Church in Bledsoe, Ky.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at the Green Hill Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Keith Coldiron and Rev. Joe Laws officiating.

Burial will be in the Lewis Cemetery, Bledsoe, Ky.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
