Born June 1, 1948, in Middlesboro, he was the son of the late Hubert and Gladys Collins England. He professed his faith in Christ at an early age. He retired from the Engineering Department at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital after 33 years of service., and was a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a loving sister, Wynunee Berry; and a niece, Cindy England.
He is survived by the following members of his family, daughter, Ellen Emily Simpson and husband Ernest Thomas Rodney Hatfield; grandchildren, who were like his own children, Amber Nicole Simpson, Alexander Simpson, Corey Tyler Simpson, Corrado Justin Eugene Simpson and Jonathan Rodney Dewayne Hatfield; step-grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Hatfield and Thomas Jacob Hatfield; sisters, Romona Gail (Paul) Headrick, Vetta Joyce Killion and Brenda Darlene (Junior) Rowlett; brothers, Auburn Elgin (Dorothy) England, and Denton Casper (Jane) England; and a host of nieces and nephews and his beloved ARH Family.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 6, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Hensley presiding.
Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Creech Funeral Home.
