Born on January 15, 1935, in Pineville, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Cassie Webb. She retired from Greenbrier Manor in 1996, after many years of service, and was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church in Renick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Frank J. Windon; brothers, Olin Webb and Beull Webb; and sisters, Thursa Mason and Pauline Webb.
Survivors include one son, Joe Windon and wife, Francine, of Alderson, W.Va.; five daughters, Barbara Sue Carman and husband, Michiel, of Columbus, Ohio, Brenda Wright of Lynchburg, Va., Beverly Friend and husband, Ray, of Flagstaff, Ariz., Bridget Kagan and husband, Drew, of Lewisburg, W.Va., and Briana Windon and husband, Doug, of Lewisburg, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren, Michiel L. Carman, Adam Wright, Jordon Wright, Brent Windon, Ryan Windon, Bryce Friend, Kelsey Friend, Lindsey Williams, Alexander Kagan, Abigail Plum, and Shania Boggs; eight great-grandchildren, Anthony, Elizabeth, Gabriel, Adam, Jacob and Emilie Carman, and Hunter and Logan Wright; two brothers, Waylon Webb and Ben Webb; and five sisters, Gwendolyn Thompson, Zona Barnes, Ocie Ball, Wanda Nichols, and Berneda Buell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with the Rev. Ron Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in Rosewood cemetery in Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, W.Va.
