Cumberland Gap Panthers Keep the Drive Alive

Cumberland Gap teams played host to Pigeon Forge Friday, Dec. 3.

The Lady Panthers fell to the Lady Tigers with a disappointing final score of 42-76. Whitney Vannoy led CG with 16, followed by Jennifer Pace with 8.

Coming off their first district win against Union County, the Panthers kept the drive alive. CG defeated the Tigers 64-56. Cumberland Gap was led by junior A.J. Fultz with 16, and Andrew Fultz with 14. Allen Dewyse led the Tigers with 21. Cumberland Gap will travel to Gatlinburg Pittman on the 7th, and will host CLAIBORNE HIGH Friday the 10th.

Lady Panthers: Whitney Vannoy 16, Jennifer Pace 8, Brandie Combs 6, Sara Barnard 4,Jessica Weaver 3, Allison Campbell 2, Kim England 2, and Amy Seal 2.

Lady Tigers: Shanae Rayfield 21, Nora Ramsey 13, Whitney Dodgen 12, Haley Johnson 11, Newman 9, Meade 4, Helton 2, Cox 2, and K. Rayfield 2.

Panthers: A.J. Fultz 16, Andrew Fultz 14, Tyler Brim 10, Jory McFall 9, Barry Brooks 7, Javan Crockett 4, and Joey McFall 4.

Tigers: Allen Dewyse 21, Adam Woodrick 16, Teaster 5, Stiler 5, Nichols 3, Lethco 2, Gibbs 2, and Carr 2.
