She was born June 3, 1924, in Bell County, a daughter of the late John Grubbs and Emma Broughton Grubbs. She was a member of Wallsend Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hance Harris; and sister, Ona Mae Sturgill.
Survivors include five sons, Roscoe Harris, Pineville, David Harris, Middlesboro, Danny Harris, Pineville, Hance Harris Jr., Pineville, and Johnny Harris, Pineville; three daughters, Joyce Gambrel, Barbourville, Ky., Mary Nunn, Pineville, and Carolyn Sue Smith, Pineville; one brother, Leonard Grubbs, Pineville; two sisters, Anna Mae Smith, Pineville, and Gracie Slicker, Grand Prarie, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Creech-Durham Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Jackson presiding.
Interment will be in Wallsend Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Saturday at Creech-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, which is in charge of arrangements.
