He had been a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church since April 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Thelma (Richardson) Liford.
Survivors include his sons: Scott and wife, Sandy Liford of New Tazewell and Joe Liford of New Tazewell; granddaughter, Shelby Liford; brothers: Larry Liford of Davisburg, Mi., Paul Liford of Hollister, Ca., Joe Frank Liford of Lake Orion, Mi.; aunt, Grace Liford Pressnell of Columbia.
Graveside Services were held 4 p.m. Saturday, February 19 in the Liberty Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Brooks officiating.
Pallbearers: Roger Standifer, Earl Seals, Rogan Dingus, Carl Williams, Jeff Norris and Bill Cheek.
Claiborne Funeral Home in charge.
