Keavy, Ky. - Ronald George Taylor, 54 died on Monday, April 4, 2005, at his home.

He was born in Beverly, on April 24, 1950, the son of Opal Warren Taylor Smith and the late George Taylor. He was a member of the East Side Tabernacle.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, George Darrin Taylor; brothers, Rudy and Bobby Taylor; and special grandmother, Martha Jane Mills.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva Mae Holland Taylor; son, Gary Wayne Taylor and his wife, Josette; daughter, Alicia Danielle Taylor; and grandchildren, Brandon Robert and Brian Chadwell Maxey; mother, Opal Taylor Smith of Straight Creek; sisters, Connie Garland of Straight Creek, Kathy Elliott of Newtown, Dorothy Emery and husband Steve, and Kaye Emery and husband Jerry, all of Dorton Branch; brothers, Freddy Taylor, Harold Taylor and wife, Bonnie, all of Straight Creek, Terry Taylor and wife Connie of Tazewell, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Daniels, the Rev. Danny Hall and the Rev. B.F. Jackson.

Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearer will be Gary Neal.

The family received friends on Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
