He was born in Wallins Creek, Ky., on March 20, 1925, and was the son of the late E.M. and Nora Osborne Saylor. He had been a mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Randall; and a brother, Virgil Saylor.
Survivors include his children, Lavern (Mary) Saylor, Earnest Saylor and Donna Gibson; grandchildren. Amber, Brandee, Adam and Samantha; great-grandson, Jeremiah Eureste; sisters and brothers, Viola Calloway, Ralph Saylor, Ruth Lloyd and Glenn Saylor; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Saylor Cemetery in Coldiron, with Mr. Charles Calloway officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville.
