She was born Oct. 2, 1953, in Bell County, a daughter of Edward Soares and Mary. She was a member of Binghamtown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Isaac and Rosa Beason.
Survivors include her son, Joshua Kersky; mother, Mary Gullatte, Maynardville, Tenn.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Creech Funeral Home with Elder Rogers Rhodes and Elder Steve Greene presiding. Music will be provided by church singers.
Interment will be in Turner Cemetery at Colmar.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of all arrangements.
