The pageant will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, on the main stage at the festival grounds at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College in Middlesboro.
The Miss Cumberland Mountain Fall Festival winner will receive a one-year full tuition scholarship to SKCTC.
Judging begins with the interview portion of the competion at 9 a.m. Saturday morning at the Middlesboro Community Center on 30th Street. The evening gown competition will be held on the main stage of the Fall Festival at noon.
The pageant is open to young ladies ages 16-20, and there are no area restrictions. The $125.00 entry fee includes photogenic, evening gown, and interview competition. The winners in each of these categories will receive a trophy.
Pictures entered for the photogenic competition must be at least 8x10 and must he turned in the day of the interview. No refunds will be given if pictures are not brought.
Miss Fall Festival and Mrs. Fall Festival will receive a crown, banner, trophy, flowers, and a one-year scholarship to the Southeast Community college. The winner is also encouraged to take part in the Middlesboro Christmas parade, and the reigning winners are encouraged to return the following year to crown her successor.
The entry deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 28. No entries will be accepted at the door.
