Geneva Harvey, age 81, of New Tazewell, formerly of White Pine, was born November 16, 1923 and departed this life for her heavenly home on November 1, 2005 at the Claiborne County Hospital in Tazewell.

She was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville. She was a faithful member as long as her health permitted her to attend. She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Emma Leedy Janeway; sisters: Ethel McDaniel and Georgia Lee McDaniel; brother: Elmer Janeway, Jr.; three infant children.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years: Hubert Harvey; sisters: Beulah M. Mackey of Carlisle, Oh, Shirley Carter of New Tazewell, Faye and husband Arbie Brown, Dollie M. Estes all of Tazewell; brothers: Harley and wife Wilma Janeway of New Tazewell, Ray and wife Clarssie Janeway of Tazewell; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were Thursday, November 3 at 10 a.m. at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Seven Gibson officiating. Songs Liberty Quartet. Burial in the Greer Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Glen Shumate, Clarence Green, Arjay Honeycutt, Tommy Neely, Arbie Brown, and Ben McDaniel.
